Issue no. 8 - Maintaining professional standards

May 17, 2017

In this issue we look at how members have come under scrutiny for being perceived to have fallen short of what was expected of them by patients, employers or regulators. The professional standards that were acceptable yesterday aren’t necessarily acceptable today. The examples noted are good reminders of the need to maintain best practice even in difficult situations, and how we are able to defend members to achieve the best possible outcome.
